Born in 1977, Hao started mixing traditional arts with computer graphics during his Industrial Design study in the university. Today, with 7 years of professional art training and more than 9 years working experience in visual design field, Hao fulfills his childhood dream and is focusing his attention on web UI desig. His strong background on fine art, the working experience he gained as a designer, and the deep knowledge of web programming, together have built up a diversity of skills, which is a great combination for many types of projects and also has assisted him to act a key role to make the connections between the front-end design team and the back-end program team in the development of a website.

On a personal level, Hao is a detail focusing individual, with a great sense on fashion trends, fonts, colors and layout. He now works as the Art director in a Web based retail company and is still exploring all facets of graphic design, animation and of course illustration that remains his favorite playground.

Make images transparent in IE.

I recently designed an interface for Adpreference.com. Nothing is really impressive about this site, either design or technique, but one thing I would like to bring out here and share with you all.

In this project which will function as a tool for online advertising to connect Advertisers to Publishers, or in other word to increase the transparency between them. TRANSPARENCY has been brought in this project as the main concept. Therefore, transparent images have to be widely used in this site. However, as we all know, PNG formated images with transparency cannot be displayed properly in IE 6.0 and lower versions. To solve this problem, Click here to see my solution:
